It's even better than the SNES version of SMW because it actually saves after the game is beaten!! After the game's beaten, maps can be navigated like SMW, where levels can be replayed freely. SMA4 is based off of the SMB3 engine, but it has a far better save feature than the NES and SMAS versions. There's even more stuff that I left out of the video due to the 10 min limit. Here's a video showcasing all of the features that exist on the SMA4 rom. I think that there is immense hacking potential in this game, perhaps even more than SMW.
I've posted a ton of stuff on youtube, and a topic that has some momentum here. I apologize in advance if this is inappropriate.Īnyways, even though this is a SMW forum, I'm trying to generate interest in hacking the GBA version of Super Mario Bros. I hope this is the proper place to post this, and I hope it is not considered spam.
